Traditional marriage ceremonies in the Epirus - region of northwestern Greece - were some of the most extravagant wedding celebrations among the Greeks. The embroideries produced for the young bride’s trousseau were as elaborate as the celebrations Ottoman Empire left its mark in the arts and as an extension of arts in embroidery.
**Note: Every scarf is carefully ironed, folded and sealed in a transparent plastic case. Every scarf will be accompanied by a "Grecian Chic" pocket sized mirror and "How to Wear" card. Each scarf is shipped in a retail box, wrapped in white tissue paper and carefully sealed with Grecian Chic ribbon.
