Tartan: The New Cool Kid
The fall season is in full swing, and tartan is the new cool kid on the block. This season my favorite fall piece is the Scottish Day Kilt. Made in Scotland from 100% pure new wool, its as classic and cozy as you can get, but oh-so-chic too. I love buying items that I can style for more than one event or occasion, and that I can wear as a career woman, as well as a fashionista. This beauty fits the bill.
Pair it with a pair of pumps and a crisp button-down for business casual at the office, or slip on a pair of flats and a comfy turtle neck and head out for a lunch date with the girls. The versatility is what draws me back every time.
This skirt is comfortable and designed to keep you warm all fall and winter long. The artistic touches include a pleated back and beautiful leather buckles on one side so it can be perfectly fitted to your body type. That was a major win for me.
OHTO Sunglasses: I have worn the above shades with many an outfit and they don't cease to amaze me with their versatility and durability. I love being the one with something a little different. These particular sunnies are made of 100% wood and are handcrafted. There isn't another pair identical to my pair in the whole world. They have withstood both a Philly winter and a Philly summer; they're in it for the long run with me.
Sparta Jade Necklace: I think part of what I love about the fall is how the color pallet changes. How greens turn into reds, burnt oranges and yellows. I love observing the sun set over a forest, and watching the entire space illuminate to gold and become one with the sunset. Fall has always inspired me to change up my look and incorporate some new colors into my outfits. My go-to jewelry pieces this fall are the Sparta Jade Necklace and the Sparta Crystal Necklace. Both these beauties boast different shades of green and brown and gold. The necklaces are long and great for pairing over turtlenecks and scarves to produce that wow-factor we all covet.
