FALL EDIT: Suited, But Cinched

FALL EDIT: Suited, But Cinched

The suited look is back, but make it cinched. Our feeds have been inundated with this smart style that was once reserved for the boardroom. Considered the ultimate 'power look', it always brings to mind Diane Keaton in Baby Boom, looking the part of the fierce businesswoman in her suited set, climbing the corporate food chain.

While the suited look makes just as powerful a statement today as it did in the 80's, the key to its revival is the belt. Many of the suits we spotted on the runways this season came with a built-in belt for the blazer, lending them a whole new, edgier look. For the suit that’s already hanging in your closet, simply invest in a statement belt to style it with. This small addition can make a huge difference – giving the blazer a more structured silhouette and lending the perception of an hourglass shape.
