Ever tried mixing prints to see what you might come up with? We love experimenting by combining older, beloved garments from our closets with new, on-trend styles that come into the store. It always feels like such a challenge to find new and inventive ways to wear pieces that have only ever been styled one specific way. It's so easy to fall into a pattern of cycling through the same old looks over and over again, so reevaluating your closet every few months to see what new looks you can pull together can give it new life. 

Over the years, we've become more ambitious with mixing our prints. Stripes with florals - why not? Leopard and polka dot? Yes, please! If you're tired of looking at the same old pieces over and over again, creating fun and unexpected combinations can give you a new outlook on your closet. Add with just a few new pieces sprinkled in every season, it can give you a new mindset when getting dressed in the morning. You've essentially created a whole new wardrobe of possibilities for yourself.

For today's look, we opted for a simple striped tee as our anchor piece and completed the look with a wildly patterned pair of shorts. We also love the work that a layered neutral (think a blazer, cardi or kimono) can do in tying a look together. We chose an airy white kimono by Greek designer, Moutaki, to do the job! Aside from giving us serious summer vibes, the kimono can be considered an investment piece as it can be incorporated into so many different looks. At the shore? Throw it on over a swimsuit and sandals for after-beach cocktails. Staying local? Pair it over denim shorts and a tank before heading out for the day.
