The Valentine's Day Edit
The first month of the year is always a slog... let's be honest, there's not really much going on. Whoever came up with the expression, January Blues, must have been from the East Coast. I mean.... will we ever see sunshine and warm weather again?
Dramatics aside, February brings the month of love! A month to refocus; to be a little kinder and more mindful towards others; to say 'I love you' and 'I simply adore you' a little more often to those that brighten our lives; to show ourselves love and patience. Nothing brings us more joy than a vase filled with fresh flowers; an evening of face masking and a glass of wine; a glorious bath (they are so underrated!) candles burning while watching a favorite movie; boardgames with close friends. These are the moments we want to remember and celebrate. February gives us that nudge.
