Something Navy

As you begin to refresh your summer wardrobe, what do you look for? Shorts and tees, no doubt - those are the easy get. But the sundress - now that takes a little more work.

The dress must be flattering to the silhouette, that's a given. But it should also evoke a feeling - one that plunges you into a momentary daydream of all that's good to come. The warmth of the sun. Cool breezes. Salt on skin. Patio barbecues. Refreshing cocktails. Outdoor concerts. A much needed holiday on a exotic island. The allure of summer means a slower pace and a few lazy, carefree days to recharge. Simply put, summer celebrates a beautiful soul (that's you), in a beautiful sundress.

The lovely Veery dress, styled by Philly Fashion blogger Hara of Fashion and the City, transports us to Greece (where it was also made!) with its dramatic open back - hello, island life! - and the classic nautical blue we love so much. Must be the Greek in us! Airy and lightweight, with a sweet babydoll cut, the Veery is revealing in just the right places. Perfect for stealing glimpses of that sun-kissed skin you'll be baring all season long.  And did you notice the delicate lace and pleated detailing? Equally eye-catching, wouldn't you say?

Hara popped the look with accessories in dramatic red. We could not have found a better complement to the Veery dress if we had paired it ourselves! The Illusion Clutch by Vice Versa of Athens was handmade from soft Greek leather and is available in our e-shop in a plethora of bright summer hues. The playful Tassel Earrings, also handmade in Greece and featuring crystal studded endcaps and crystal beaded tassels, add movement and polish to the ensemble.  We know you've loved the tassel as much as we have, and have restocked it in Ice Blue and Black. You're welcome!

Come summer, nothing gets between us and our shades! Ok, so we have a bit of a thing for sunglasses... you can never have to many pairs, right? We love switching up our sunnies to perfectly match our mood and our ensemble. The shades Hara is styling are handcrafted on the Greek isle of Syros in the Mediterranean by designer Zylo Eyewear. The wood used to create each impeccably designed pair of sunglasses is sourced directly from the island - how cool is that? Spotlighted in this shoot are the Felis Modenia Sunglasses, which feature a signature oversized shape with a lavish and winding design. You can also check out all of the inspired styles we carry in our e-shop, here

How would you switch up this look to suit your style? All for now, thanks for stopping by! xo
